Seemore of Tancook Seemore is a seagull with a problem, which is eventually solved with the help of Josh, a local boy, and Olivia, a young tourist. They realize that Seemore will be a happier seagull with a pair of red rubber boots. In the process, we learn about life in coastal Nova Scotia and especially on Tancook Island, Seemore’s home. This is the author/artist’s first book. Originally published in 2004, it quickly sold out and, until this 2009 reprint, has been unavailable. The original folk art illustration sets the book apart and has kept it in demand.
